Went there for a function. There was a long wait between courses. Entree average. Meat in main was delish but the salad had no dressing, not sure what the Vegetables were, and the Beetroot under cooked. Dessert very nice.

A good course with an enjoyable links feeling. We were a bit hunted although the three of us only needed 3 hours 30 minutes. The grounds were in excellent condition. All in all we had a lot of fun. Would go again.

Only true links course in NZ. WoW. Staff and pro shop absolutely lovely. Golf course stunning. Greens are so true. Magnificent course

Managed to play here on our travels Feb 2020, incredible and challenging golf course and proper friendly staff/pro in the club shop. What a links course this. Didn't want to leave. Hopefully back one day!

Wow! this golf course is what golf is all about. Perfect greens, friendly people, great club house and a challenge on each hole that takes you on a golfing journey through the dunes. One of the best in NZ and certainly world class. Try it for yourself you will be glad you did!

Every hole is a gem. The greens are always superb, and this Alex Russell design will test your skills and strategy every time you play it. You can bomb your drive as far as you like, but if you aren't on the fairway and your angle to the green isn't correct, you will have a challenging time making par. The clubhouse is undergoing some cosmetic upgrades and the view down the 18th from inside is great. You can get a coffee, soft drinks, or alcohol from the bar and the kitchen offers a simple menu during the day if you feel like it. There's also some counter food, from freshly prepared sandwiches to cakes and slices and on occasion there's a nice soup of the day. All at reasonable prices. The proshop can organize your golf times and they have a small range of equipment and apparel. Carts are available, but need to be booked to secure one. Happy golfing or dining if you just want to drop in for a coffee casually.
